pH MONITORING INSTRUCTIONS

Please keep track of your pH readings and bring the chart back with you at your next session.

The following tips will help you have accurate readings:

1. Keep chart & pH sticks in the bathroom.
2. Daniel prefers pH sticks not the strips, as they are easier to use and they don’t bleed.
3. Upon arising, check the saliva before putting anything in your mouth. Saturate the stick with saliva, wait one minute and match the stick to the color it closely resembles, note the number on the form.
4. Do the same with the first urination of the morning, filling in the rest of the columns. Be sure to take the second urine reading as well.
5. Note: The first urine reading should be more acidic than the second if the kidneys are working properly. Please notify us if the readings are reversed.
